
This recipe for Bacon and Pecan Pie is easy to make and a great snack for any day of the week.
Ingredients Bacon, bacon slices, 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese, 2 cups water, 1 tsp salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 cup sour cream, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 egg, 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1 celery stalk, 1 tomato, 1 bell pepper, 1 clove garlic, 1 dash cayenne pepper, 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil Instructions Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, whisk together the water, salt, and garlic powder until combined.
In another bowl, combine the grated cheese, water, and salt.
Whisk until well combined.
Add the vegetable oil, egg, onion, carrot, celery, and tomato.
Cook, stirring frequently, for about 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Spoon 1/4 cup of the mixture into each pie dish.
Top each pie with another slice of bacon, a fresh slice of mozzerella cheese, and bacon.
Bake until pies are golden brown, about 20 minutes.
